Which Scan tool 850 1996

I have a question about which diagnostic scan tool to get for my 96 850 wagon. when I search the web I get a bewildering amount of hits covering a huge range of prices, and I'm not sure what I need. I would like to retrieve egeneric and manufacturer specific codes, reset and erase codes.

Can anyone supply me with info about which tool is the best to get and far as price/performance ration goes?
