rear main seal leak 850 1995

Some help me please.

I have a 95 850 T5R , 125 KM , and I love it, nothinng like eating the boy racers at the lights, they find it so embarrassing getting thier little jappers beaten by a Volvo!

Problem
I have a rear main seal leak (plus the dipstick and filler cap have replaced both of those). My mech has told me I have excessive pressure in the crankcase (2psi, thier T5 has .75psi), they want to replace the rear main seal, but this does not explain the excessive pressure, they have suggested blow by which will mean $$$$.

Question

Does anyone out there know what could be causing this problem (2psi) and how to fix it

Help

Paul
