Get another opinion! 850

Take the car to either another dealer that has experienced techs (not rookies) or to an indy shop that has techs with 850 experience.

If a tech at your current dealer can't diagnose the difference between an O2 sensor, MAF meter and a TRANSMISSION, the guy's a rookie or an idiot.

Sorry but being a tech for many years, I've NEVER made a mistake in judgement like that. Big difference in a bad O2, bad MAF meter and a bad trans and any good, experienced Volvo tech can diagnose the differences.

Your car is probably at a dealership where all the real, good techs quit (got tired of VCNA and dealership BS) and moved on to greener pastures (like what I'd like to do). When the good techs leave, all that's left are kids, lube techs trying to wildly guess at how to fix those cars. It's going to get ALOT worse soon btw.
