New struts and new 'knuckle popping' sound 850 1995

I replaced the struts and rear shocks (Blisten touring) on my 850t .. After the install I noticed a Knuckle Popping sound (yes, I am refering to you hand "knuckle") at the front of car ..When I turn hard or if I am backing out with the wheel turned 100% right or left .. And only when turning .. never happens when I am driving.. I did not replace any thing else in the strut exchange, every thing still looked in good shape (rubber).. I did have the car re-alligned twice .. Please help ... Thanks, Curits
