850 owner want to go to 2001 v70T V70-XC70

My '95 850 is still running fine, but by years end, I wanna find a nice 2001 V70T Wagon. I love the look and interior of the new design (the Taurus Volvo), but need to know how many brickboarders went to this model, after the 850, and what if any problems carried over into the new design.

My 850 has had the following common problems and repairs:

PNP switch
A/C Evap
Lots of brakes and rotors
Fuel pump at 115,000
Tires every 16 months (205/50/16)
Lots of lightbulbs

Besides oil and tranny fluid changes, I guess that's about it. More than most car models have to deal with, but probably less than others. I love the 5 cylinder design and performance, especially with the Turbo, but want to make sure that the above list are not common in the V70 line.

Maybe these problems were fixed, but does the v70 have it's own set of new problems? I've checked-out a few consumer report pages and the v70 doesn't appear to be much better than the 850.

I normally put 22,000 miles a year on my cars so want to hear from owners that drive heavily and hear about their stories.

Thanks,

DP

PS: Only want info on the 2001+ models. Thanks.
