Engine racing when in park or stopped in drive V70-XC70 2003

I seem to remember that same issue with my wifes 2001 V70-T when it was new. I don't recall what they did but I think the dealership fixed it first try. Sorry I'm not any help but I think it may be something Volvo shops would/should know.
