Cruise Control Error Codes 850 1993

Having some problems with Cruise Control... it will not engage at all. I have checked the vacuum lines and the pedal switches with no success (i.e. they all seem to work). I was wondering if someone out there has the diagnosic codes for the CC, or perhaps some way to check if the on/set/resume switch and vacuum pump are functional. Any help would be much appreciated.
