Broken dash 850

I just replaced the bulbs in the instrument cluster following the excellent instructions on Bay 13. The problem is that the previous owner must have also removed the dash without knowing how to do it. I found almost all of the screws holding the dash cover in place had broken thru the plastic of the dash frame. Essentially the dash cover is now just laying on top because the screws pulled right thru the broken plastic frame. Has anyone else had this problem and how did you resolve it. Is it possible to reinforce/repair the existing frame or does it need to be replaced? If it needs to be replaced, any idea how much Volvo gets for the part(s) and how big a job is it? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
