Interior Blower Starts Automatically S80

I first noticed this on our old Audi. Apparently the early 5-cyl engines had a problem with cracked heads after a hot run. I guess the one on the S80 does the same thing, there's alot of heat in the engine bay, especially with two turbochargers strapped to the back of the block.

Anything that helps the engine cool down, without all the heat going straight to the head has to be a good thing.

Bottom line, don't worry about it, it's normal, and Volvos have huge batteries anyway.
