Oil leaking

My 1996 850 with 122,000 miles is suddenly leaking oil.

The location of the leak is on the right center side of the engine, near what appears to be the junction of the engine and transmission, though I have not pinpointed the precise source.

If I fill the car with oil, it will lose a few ounces by the next morning, even if it just sits. The oil does not drain until the car is out of oil, but it will drain until the dipstick does not register a reading.

Any recommendations? Thanks.
