Oil leak V70-XC70 1998

usually the leak is from a brittle, worn out rubber gasket that fits under the oil cap to create a good seal.
Another common reason is careless pouring of oil, with some going under the valve cover.
Clean the area well and replace rubber gasket, and problem will most likely be solved.
If your vehicle has a flame trap, make sure its open and not clogged up, as the increased crankcase pressure will force oil from the oil cap opening.
