How hot is your V70R hood? V70-XC70

Just took delivery today of 2004 V70R. Amazing car. Drove it 1 hour home on the highway and 2 hours later the hood was still very, very hot to the touch. I think its fiberglass. Does your V70R run this hot? I am assuming its normal; just seemed very hot.
