air conditioning not working after battery failure 850

Last week, my battery decided to die. I called CAA and they came and gave me a boost, I used the car for the remaining afternoon, but since I got the car boosted and I replaced the battery, the air conditioning would not work. It was working great up until then. Now the compressor will not come on.
