Interior light question for new 850 owner 850

Just purchased a 95 850 non-turbo with 113K. Are there supposed to be lights on the digital clock in the dash, auto shifter, and on the radio only the stations light up.
Plus the service light just came on and stays on the whole time you drive it, but it seems to drive great. Is there a service interval and how do I reset it.
The brakes make a grumble noise just as you stop. It doesn't do it if you press hard on the pedal.
Any ideas??
