95 keyless remote - how do you know? 850 1995

Bob,

If you remove the glove compartment, and look at the right side of the glove compartment (next to the passenger side door), you should see a black square box. That box is the receiver of the keyless entry system. If there is no black box in that area, you don't have the keyless entry system. The remote that you saw in the ebay is the transmitter only. You need the receiver installed in the car in order to use the remote from ebay. 850 is already wired for keyless entry and alarm system. You should see a green connector in that area if you don't have the black square receiver box. That green connector is plug right into the receiver box.

You can get the receiver box with the remote from dealer. They have to be matched to have the same frequency band. Otherwise, remote won't work.
