Timing belt saga C70 1999

Well, I have finally taken care of the situation of the snapping timing belt on my '99 C70. As a quick summary, it snapped at about 98K miles and did quite a bit of damage. In the end, Volvo of North America agreed to pay for all the parts that were damages (except the timing belt as that would have been replaced at 105K according to their manual, and I willingly stated I would pay the routing maintenance cost as if the belt hadn't broken). However, they aren't covering some of the labor and in the end I will owe about $1000.00

All in all,I am pleased with how Volvo handled it (although it took two weeks of my car sitting at the dealership before they called me, but the reality is that the dealer can't be making much money off of me on this one as I am sure Volvo pays them reduced rates). Thanks for all the help from everybody and all the advice. If anybody has a '99+ 70-series they may want to consider replacing the belt before 105K. Thanks again to everyone and sorry for the delay in response to those who wondered what happened.
