HeadLight Lens Replacement 850

1. Remove the plastic cover below the headlight. If you have wipers there, they need to be removed.
2. Remove the parking light (just undo the spring clip inside the engine compartment
3. Undo all metal clips around the old lens.
4. Carefully remove all glass shards. To do this safely I usually put some sticky tape on the old broken lens. Blow glass pieces from the headlight with compressed air. DO NOT wipe mirror surfaces!
5. I use the original gasket, it looked better made than the new one that came with the glass. Install the new lens and redo all the clips. I used the old clips, not the ones that came with the lens kit.
6. Do steps 1. and 2. in reverse.

I replaced both left and right lesnes. Both got shattered by some flying objects. Paid some $90 per lens.
