Advisable to change tranny fluid for preventive maitenance? V70-XC70 1998

Hello-
I'm a preventive maitenance freak. I have a 98 V70 with 76K miles on it. I've had the car about a week and really love it so far. According to Volvo, there is no auto tranny fluid change in the schedule, just inspect. I would like to flush it out. This has definately helped my 240 tranny last over 209K now. Any opinions/experiences??
