ATF change!!! 850 1992

Im into changing my atf on our 1992 Volvo 850 GLT ...

The fluid is NEVER changed! , and the car has 130k miles on it.

The fluid is grey! , im worried about doing the "full flush" dont want to break whats not already broken.... or sealed for that matter...

Ive heard about a more gentle way to change the fluid , with just draining it?

Can anyone explain the procedure ?? And I dont mean the real flush described at bay13 ....

I know the result may not be as good as with the total flush , but anything is better than this grey fluid ....

Advice! Please!
