Doors unlock right after locking them 850

Hello all. I have a 95 T5-R (yellow) with 80,000 mi on it. I am having a door lock/unlock issue. Here are the symptons:
1) I lock my car with the key in the driver side door. All four locks go down, then immediately (sometimes there is up to a second delay) all the doors unlock.

2) I have a aftermarket (remote start) alarm on my car. Sometimes when I de-arm the aftermarket alarm, the doors unlock as they should, but then when I open the door, the oem volvo alarm horn sound goes off and I have to put the key in the driver's door and turn to de-arm the horn alarm.

#1 has been occuring about 90% of the time since yesterday. I think #2 has been occurring for a while, I just never gave it much thought.

I spoke with my independent volvo mechanic and he pointed to the aftermarket alarm (of course). I took the car to the aftermarket alarm shop and they pointed to the volvo door selenoid or something...but not the aftermarket alarm (of course).

At this point I feel pretty strongly it is not related to the alarm. When I am driving I can lock the doors by pushing down on the drivers side lock, and it locks the doors, but then the unlock right away. In fact, one time I held the drivers side lock down and enjoyed locking/unlocking barrage for about 15secs.

Thanks in advance for your consideration,

Ted
