planning new purchase V70-XC70

Ed,
98 was a rough year for the car you are after. You might want to consider a 97 or 99. 17" wheels will make it ride like a rock, but it will most likely handle great. But I'm thining you have already driven a 98-2000 with 17s so you know what you are looking at. Also the car you are contimplateing has a low ground clearance. Will that be a factor? I hit the dips in the road here in Denver with my '97 GLT sedan when it was new with scrapping regularity. (It replaced a Corrola...)
If it were me looking with you paramaters I would be thinking 99 T-5 15".
