99 S80 non turbo will not turn over even with a jumper S80 1999

My 99 S80 sits in the garage for extended periods and for some reason the battery seems to be dischaging . The car usually starts with a short charge, but this time it would not.
I noticed that the fluid in the battery in the trunk was low and added more fluid.
Even with jumper cables to the battery itself and the front terminals near the motor would not start it.
I checked the common fuses in the front panel and those in the rear, except the main fuses.

Anyone have any clues as to why it won't start? Car has about 34,000 miles on it,mostly long distance driving.
