ABS and STC light are on, brake or controller issue??? S80

I had a similar problem and see if yours acts the same. I started receiving ABS Service Required & STC Service Required. After a little while I got Emissions Service Required, Check Engine, Transmission Service Required and evenutally Brake Failure - Stop car carefully. If your's starts to do that it's an internal fault in the ABS Control Module. Since this provides speed info to other sensors; that's the reason for the multiple alarms. Eventually they will all go out until tripped again. Price tag? $860. While I always loved Volvos these S80s are WAY TOO touchy. Right now I have SRS Service - Urgent, do you know what it is? Seat belt latches aren't putting out sensor data and need to be replaced? Now why it G-ds's earth do seat belt latches need to be monitored. I had enough of this Volvo, if I would ever get one again it would be leased where after 3 years it would be someone elses, headach. Good luck. If you get the lights I did it's the expensive ABS control module sad to say.
