Passenger Power Seat Problem C70 1997

Hi all,

I have a problem with the passenger seat. At the weekend, it stuck in the fully forward position after a rear passenger got out. I have had a look and found a spring hanging from a rotating metal plate which seems to activate a microswitch.

If I press the switch, I can move the seat as normal. The only problem is, I can't see where this spring attaches to. Any body know?
