phatom vibration comes and goes mysteriously 850 1995

The other day when I was getting on the highway something weird happened. When mergeing I had to get on the gas because a car wwas coming up on me fast. I can feel that the AC pulls some power from the motor. I was accelerating uphill to about 70 mph. The motor was at 4000rpm for about 20 seconds. After cresting the hill. The car began to vibrate severly. It maintained this vibration as I got off the next exit. It vibrated even at slow speeds,but not when stopped. As I drove home it felt as if something was holding the car back. Almost as if the brakes were dragging.To the point that the front left tire was spinning as tried to accelerate from a standstill. After my limp home the rear brakes weren't hot. The next day I got in my car and took it out on the highway. Accerating through the whole rpm range. I drove on the highway of speeds up to 85mph. Nothing happened. The brakes weren't warped. Nothing it was totally gone. The day before I thought it was going to fall apart on the highway. Then the next day nothing it drove perfectly normal. What could be my problem?
