disconnect ABS alltogether? 850

OK, so I'm fairly content to let the standard ABS issue on my 96 850 Turbo Wagon go. I've got 196,000 miles and I am becoming more and more choosy about what gets fixed and what doesn't. So the question is this: is there a way to disconnect or turn off ABS alltogether? I am fine driving the car when ABS is working, and I am fine driving the car when I know ABS is not (ABS light on), but I do not like the feeling when ABS clicks off (that feedback in the brake pedal, often when trying to stop).

Has anyone done this?

thanks,

matt
