ABS/TRACS - electrical ignition or ABS module or both ? 850 1996

Hi All,

I've been experiencing the well-known ABS/TRACS light problem.
I thought at first the problem was related to the ignition
switch because wiggling the key would make the lights
turn off. I have not changed the ignition switch yet
(the problem has been intermittent). But now it seems
the ABS/TRACS turns on while I am driving or applying
the brakes lightly and wiggling the key does not turn off
the ABS/TRACS lights. Does this mean that the real problem was
with the ABS module and not the ignition switch ? Or are
both thos eparts malfunctioning ? Should I firstr change
the ignition switch and see if the problem goes away ?
Just trying to not wasted changing part that are not
defective.

Thanks all for your input,

Lee
