Suspension scrape/rattle sound C70 1998

Scraping sound is probably sway bar endlinks, cheap parts, easy install, do a search, tehre's plenty of posts.

CEL is not always a MAF, that's just one of hundreds of possible reasons for the CEL to come on. Be sure to have someone pull the codes from your OBD port (center console, under a little plastic cover int eh armrest).

If you don't know anyone with a reader, you can take it to AutoZone and they'll do it for free for you. (The dealer will charge 1/2 - 1 hour of labor most likely)

Anyway, once they pull the code you'll have a better idea of what needs fixing/replacing. (The MAF is one of the more expensive replacements, that's why I say make sure it's the problem before you just go replacing parts).

Anyway, this same reader can be used to turn the light off.

Also, if you fix the problem, then in a few days the light should go off on it's own (it waits for a certain set of circumstances, drive length, time, speed, etc).

If you can't wait, you can unplug the battery for a few hours (overnight to be sure....) but make sure you have your radio code! and that will clear the light too.

Good Luck!
