Do I want another Volvo? V70-XC70

Hello-

I currently have a 1988 740GLE (MINT condition, might I add) and have grown to love the darned thing. I have turbo wheels on it, added the European side-markers, and pretty much everything is in working condition. I have grown to love the thing so much, that I'm just looking around for a newer Volvo. My family used to have a 1999 V70 AWD that had many minor problems and I'm wondering if all of the 850/70-series cars are problem ridden...what are your guys' experiences? There are a few cars in my area that look pretty nice and I'm just wondering if the car is going to be in the shop more than it's out on the road. I know that my 740 is in the shop to have things fixed everytime it goes in for its oil-change...is a newer Volvo gonna visit the shop more frequently? What are the problem areas for 1996-2000 850/70-series cars?

Thanks for the help!
