Sounds like someone's "opening both barrels", NOT really diagnosing your problem.

Get another opinion!

If you have codes for both O2 sensors, it's most likely that all you have is a vacuum hose leaking (easy and inexpensive fix). As for a possible "cat conv efficiency" code, on older FWDs like yours, that meant nothing and often shows up with misfire codes, doesn't mean that you need a new cat conv. Now, newer Volvos are another BAD story but you don't have that car.
