T5 ETS warning ?????? S70 2000

i have this same problem, ETS light is coming on and they want $800 for a new Electronic Throttle Module... i dont think they mentioned the cleaning throttle body first, they did recommend downloading new software to the car ($25 pul $70 for labor - i got that waived, cuz they first recommended i do a complete transmission flush cuz fluid was dark, at tune of $180) - which they did yesterday - but problem still persists, i'm taking it back in tomorrow morning.... :(
