Major 850 hesitation during acceleration 850 1994

Okay, kinda new here, but I've checked a lot of previous threads and haven't gotten much luck with my problem. Here goes:

1994 850 2.4L that severely hesitates when accelerating after it's warmed up for a couple of minutes. I can give it about 1/4 to 1/3 throttle and its okay, but the second I punch it, it bogs down like the gas supply is cut off. Now here's what I've done.

About a month ago, car quit, codes said CMP sensor, replaced it (and the fuel filter, while I was at it), ran fine for a week and then it started to hesitate after it warmed up for a couple of minutes. This continued to get worse and worse until it got to the point where I'd have to switch into neutral and goose the accelerator as I coasted into a stoplight so that I wouldn't stall. I checked all my trouble codes again (which I had cleared after installing the CMP sensor) and everything was 1-1-1. Things I have done since then after reading suggestions to similar problems on this site: new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, cleaned out flame trap, and checked fuel pump pressure (it's fine).

It now idles fine without clonking out, but still has major hesitation problems when I gas it. I had a problem similar to this before with a Pontiac Grand Am, and it turnes out to be extremely dirty fuel injectors. I've tried the off-the-shelf fuel injector cleaner with the 850, to no avail. When I fixed the Grand Am, I had to bring it to a garage and they ran it through a special machine--ran like brand new when they finished! Am I on the right track here, or is there something else I can try? Sorry for the long post.
