How to remove a stuck CD and clean CD player S70

A 'friend' spilt a glass of wine last weekend and some got onto and into my CD player. The CD started to fail after that (EE error) , not suprised. I didn't know he got into the car with a full glass of wine until it was too late.

I can slide out the CD/radio, I can remove the two screws on top. But I don't seem to see how to remove the top plate. My intent is to remove the CD, then clean the CD player.

Another question. I don't want to unplug the player because I have heard that it will violate the security system and need some 'codes' to reset.

Can someone point me in the right direction.
