Windshield glass showing cracks around perimeter, edges, etc C70

I also noticed that there is a crack at the base of the windshield in a small arc, about a foot, in the black border region and below the wipers, around the middle of the glass.

Where the glass starts to go under the moulding, I also can see that the surface of the glass is chipped, kinda like slate is. All this is not able to be felt by hand, just visually.

I'm thinking that the body flex as something to do with it. Glass is not supposed to be twisted from compression to tension. Strange in a Volvo, but I have not seen this in my 850 or V70.
