SC-900 3 CD Changer in C70 C70

Hello all,

I have the SC-900 3-CD changer stereo in my C70 and am missing the
CD cartridge magazine. The price for the genuine Volvo OEM
replacement from the Volvo dealer is $50. I've heard that certain
Alpine CD cartridges (which are considerably cheaper - around $25-
$30) work with the SC-900, but I have also heard that there is some
type of chip / programming in the stereo that only allows the
genuine Volvo OEM replacement to work.

Does anyone know which Alpine cartridge works with the SC-900?
Additionally, if anyone can suggest any other alternative
cartridges, it would be most appreciated!
