Towing with S80

Group:
I need a new tow vehicle to replace the trusty but weary 240.
Thinking 960/S90 but they are getting old.
Does anyone have thoughts on towing with an S80 2.9?
What is the rating? Does the TQ hve lock-up in the lower gears as the 960 did?
Is a hitch easily available?
Does the owners manual allow towing in OD?
Trailer is 1000 lb but lots of wind resistance. 240 gets it along at 65 in 4th OK
but that is with 5 speed trans.
What do you think?
