Rebuild 850

Sorry to hear about your problem, Matt.

I have the dilemma if my transmission goes should I junk the car or do a rebuild. Since I fixed many stuff and fortunately this car remained bug free (exception being the first or second year of production) I may go for a rebuild.

I would find a good transmission builder, even if out of state and get the job done. There are companies who do research and rebuild. I would definitely not go with used transmission.

Here is a research on the transmission that shows one or two bugs on the system (73%, I think, failure rate on that year, 50 survey participants),
