'93 850 Changer installation Problems 850

I have the specific adapter for this model and it is installed. It consistes of a foot long wire that connects from the changer lead to the back of the head unit and also to a power source. I bought from Crutchfield who are very reputable, but it was only $20; is the $80 one any different or better?
