Dual Climate Control - No Heat S70

The cold weather recently came to visit in Philadelphia. I turned on my dual zone cliamte control in my 98 S70 - both driver and passenger set to 80 deg. The far right and far left vents blow hot air - approx 85 deg., but the center vents blow cold - approx 60 deg. I called the dealer, they told me to close off the center vents and enjoy the two side vents. They had no reasoning as to why this would happen suddenly at 6years old and 70,000 miles.

Can anyone help me before the real cold weather arrives?

1998 S70 SE Non-turbo, 70,000 happy and trouble free miles.
