V70 AWD manual recommendation and coolant evaporation??? V70-XC70 1998

I just had my V70 AWD to the dealer for a "top off" of coolant after seeing the low coolant light hit on the dash last week. It was just below the minimum level on the overflow resevior and it is the second time in one year it had to be topped off. The dealer said this is normal I find this hard to believe since my 92,000 mile 850 hasn't this problem. Is there a difference in the cooling system from 95 on a normally aspirated engine and a light pressure turbo from 98?

Also, can someone recommend a manual for the AWD for 1998. Thanks.
