Should I try a Volvo? V70-XC70 1998

Thanks John,
As a matter of fact my bank said they thought 13k was a bit high even for a T5 (I'd rather not lay out that much in cash).
I'm also concerned about reliability. Consumer reports gave it a below average rating in that department. Other concerns are local parts availability, and if required, dealer service which is 45 miles away. Not many maint.tech's in the area that sound comfortable or confident taking a crack at Volvo repair. Even my Buds at Volkswagen service were a bit squeamish.
Before I read your reply I cancelled on this one but will keep nosing around the idea of a Volvo. My perdicament is I need more room, want to be able to pull a light trailer for hauling a 400# sport bike when I go out of town on on holiday or to home town Boise to ride with freinds up there. But I don't want a pick up or SUV. What to do?
Thanks again for your input, any more would be greatly appreciated.
Jon S. Ogden Utah
