Yeah, I saw that line too.......

-anyway, although you CAN use normal ATF, Volvo uses a nice low temp synthetic type PS fluid. Needless to say, I've never had a reason to flush PS fluid in a Volvo. Now....mid '80s GM cars with their POS "morning sickness" racks where the fluid turns silver due to zillions of metal flakes, that'd be a good reason to flush the system with a new rack.
