Mystery oil leak 850

Has anyone encountered the seal being compromised on the oil fill cap? I did a tune up and under the plug wire cover, there were pools of oil between cylinders 2, 3 and 4. Nothing around 1 or 5. Noticed oil dripping down the back of the engine in the same spots and burning on the manifold. Changed to a old cap I had and it fit a bit snugger. Need to drive a few hundered miles and take another look.

Any aftermarket caps out there that have better sealing than the OE oil fill cap?
