Clock no longer holds the time. S70 1999

Volvo Service Manual TP3501201 reads: - All dashboard gauges working, information module clock stops working with ingnition off - Source of Fault: Open-circuit in 30V supply.
Turn Ignition On: If clock works: Open-circuit in 30V supply lead between dashboard terminal #A16 and teminal 1 on fuseholder 11/14.
Turn Ignition On: If clock does not work: Fault in information module. Replace information module.
If your clock is working when the ignition is on, then you simply have an open-circuit as described in the first explanation.
