NEW S-40 S40-V40 2000

I have a '00 S40 as well with 78K and all is well! I do like the newest S40...I hope the car's integrity is still mostly Swede! I am curious as to Ford's intent to cut corners! I hope, for safety reasons that Volvo still has SAFETY and STRUCTUAL INTEGRITY as a priority in body design! I know that my '00 S40 like many others has not been a perfect car...having said that, I love this car more than any other Volvo we have owned!!!! With 78K, it is quiet, SMOOTH, starts perfect,rides perfect and gets excellant milage....I am happy!!!! Good luck with your new S40, Bill
