Squeking fan 850

The fan motor is going away to fan-heaven shortly.

It needs to be replaced. It is a DIY job if you're patient, I did it in a couple hours. There is not a lot of room in that area, so it requires a lot of disassembly. I bought a new one hoping it would last another 150,000 miles like the first one instead of a salvage fan. Just too big a pain to go back in there right away.

As for the rattle, it's hard to say. I would tighten everything while you're doing the fan.
