Auto Climate Control Blinking 850 1997

Yeah, I think it's a "hard one" because it seems to work fine after it gets done blinking. I did notice a couple of weeks ago that it seemed that my compressor seemed to be acting weird. I checked the pressure of the R134, but it seemed normal... however, the compressor wasn't turning when I was checking it even though I had the A/C on full blast.

Well... I think I have 2 options: Spend $70 now for a diagnosis and find out that I need to spend like $1000 to fix the problem... or just wait until it gets hot in May and complain about having no A/C. Since I just put $1200 into this car over the last few months (brakes, rear main seal, and a left ball joint) I think I'll wait.

;-)

Maybe by then we'll realize we need to step up to the dreaded minivan. :-(
