Steering Rack fluid weep S70 1998

Hi everyone, the steering rack in our '98 S70 has a film of power steering fluid over it and it appears to be coming from the seal where the column enters the rack. The reservoir is not noticeably lower in level so the amount of fluid leaking out is extremely small. A search of the archives has not come up with any discussions other than replacement of same. Does anyone on the board know whether this seal can be replaced alone or is the rack an untouchable item??

Thanks in advance for comments/advice

Cheers, phil
