What year, model?
I'd get the codes read by someone with Volvos VST (Volvos dealer hand-held scan tool) if a '96-'98 car.
Secondary air injection means a device like an air pump and/or air pump check valve problem. Those are costly parts if NG.
Volvos tool eliminates the guesswork as it not only reads the codes, it clears them AND can test the parts too.
