Are new S70 rear pads all the same thickness??? S70 1998

I've bought a set of claimed new S/V/C 70 rear pads from a seller on Ebay. The pads arrived as a set of four with a pair thinner than the other pair (by about 1.5 mm). I've seen new S70 pads at the dealer, they appear to be all the same (all four have the same thickness).

Are all rear pads supposed to be the same thickness when new? Can there be problems installing a pair of pads with differing thicknesses on each rear rotor?
